Ventilation cowl Ø 200
Description
A rotating chimney cowl that uses wind power to support the gravitational draft. It is designed to be installed as the end of gravity ventilation ducts.
PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION:
The operation is based on sucking air from the chimney, which prevents its return to the inside of the rooms. The cowl is made of a galvanized base and an aluminium turbine. The diameter of the cowl is Ø 200 mm, but it can be used for ducts with dimensions from 14x14cm through 14x17 and 17x17 to 20x20cm. The rotor in the turbine is mounted on sliding Teflon bearings that operate in oil. Thanks to this solution, the turbine operates flawlessly and quietly.
APPLICATION:
- in the absence of a stable smoke draft in ventilation ducts
- when air turbulence is recorded, resulting from unfavourable location of chimneys
- when the terrain configuration is unfavourable, winds are strong and frequent (II and III wind load zone).
CHARACTERISTICS:
- diameter: 200 mm
- efficiency: 400m3/h
- material: galvanized steel
- colour: brown.
