Exhaust deflector, also known as the smoking shelf, is placed at the top of the combustion chamber. In a chamber arisen above the deflector the process of afterburning fuel`s small parts takes place. As a result aditional heat is transfered to the air, than cooled and less polluted exhaust gases are removed through the chimney.
The deflector is used in air fireplaces. It is a standard equipment of MAJA fireplace. In the event of damage or use you can buy the missing element.
Material: cast iron.

Therefore, to be sure that you are ordering the right one, contact the sales department by specifying the serial number of your insert.
