MOVABLE GRATE

The stove features a solid cast iron grate. It can be removed and cleaned.

REMOVABLE ASH PAN

This is a drawer/ash container that collects burnt wood residue. It can be removed and easily cleaned.

It also facilitates manual control of the combustion process via the ash pan.

FENCE IN THE COMBUSTION CHAMBER

The decorative fence makes it easier to keep the stove clean and prevents wood from falling out.

SAFETY GLASS AND COLD HANDLE

Soot buildup is reduced thanks to the clean glass system (air guide). The classic front of the insert is equipped with heat-resistant ceramics that can withstand temperatures up to 660°C.

The cold handle system allows for removal when the stove is burning. This prevents it from heating up, making it easy to add wood.

DEFLECTOR ENHANCES COMBUSTION EFFICIENCY

Complete combustion of fuel particles thanks to the deflector, which extends the exhaust path.

EXHAUST OUTLET

Can be used in various installation conditions thanks to the adjustable exhaust outlet: at the back or top of the stove.

VALUABLE INFORMATION

1. What to burn in the stove?

Recommended fuel that can be used is wood: oak, hornbeam, ash, beech, etc. The best fuel is seasoned wood (at least one year in a well-ventilated and dry place); cut and split logs. Due to excessive ignition, the use of softwood is not recommended.

2. How to light the stove?

When lighting the stove for the first time: the appliance should be operated at a slow speed to allow the parts to expand normally.

Before lighting a large fire, light a small fire two or three times. This will allow the stove structure to settle properly and the paint to harden. Do not completely fill the firebox with wood; the optimal amount of fuel is enough to fill the combustion chamber by about 1/3 of its volume. Before adding wood, wait for the flames to subside.

3. How to position the stove?

Minimum distance between the stove and non-flammable materials: 40 cm. Minimum distance between the stove and flammable materials: sides and back: 60 cm, from the door side: 150 cm.

4. Basic safety rules

During all activities related to the operation and use of the stove, remember that its cast iron components can be hot, therefore, a minimum distance of 40 cm must be maintained between the stove and non-flammable materials.
The minimum distance between the stove and flammable materials is 60 cm, the sides and back are 60 cm, and the door is 150 cm.
Use protective gloves.
During operation and use of the stove, observe the rules that ensure basic safety conditions:

Read the fireplace insert's instruction manual and strictly follow its provisions; -
Do not leave temperature-sensitive items near the stove glass; do not extinguish fire in the furnace with water; do not operate the stove with cracked glass; there must be no flammable items near the stove;
Items made of flammable materials must be kept at least 0.6 m away from the furnace;
For safety reasons, it is recommended to remove the handle during operation.

5. Clean Glass System

Reduce soot buildup with the clean glass system.

6. Cleaning the Glass

Cleaning the glass should only be done when the stove is turned off. Do not use abrasive cleaners. We recommend our liquids or foams, available at our auctions.

7. Ash Removal

Regularly emptying the ash pan prevents ash from spilling out. Do not allow ash to touch the bottom of the grate (this prevents the circulation of air necessary for combustion). Ash should be poured into a metal container with a tight-fitting lid.

8. Stove Maintenance

Before each heating season, inspect and clean the stove. Pay particular attention to the condition of the seals and replace them if necessary. To reduce creosote buildup, it is recommended to temporarily set the firebox to maximum combustion with the door closed. Only use equipment designed for this purpose to clean the chimney. The user is obligated to clean the chimney in accordance with applicable regulations.
