Description
The glass plate for the fireplace insert is made of transparent ceramic glass with a very low coefficient of thermal expansion. Thanks to this and excellent optical properties, this ceramics ideally suites to heating devices such as fireplace inserts.
The edges of the glass sheets are grinded and polished. By grinding, we eliminate the unevenness and sharpness of the edges and give them a noble look. Polishing of surfaces makes them shiny. This procedure is normally performed when sanding edges.
The glass is resistant to temperatures up to 660°C.
