Description

Think a fireplace only heats when a fire is burning? Discover NORRA – a grateless fireplace insert with dedicated modular heat-storing caps and hangers. Designed for maximum efficiency.

Storage power without compromise

The NORRA insert is, above all, advanced thermal engineering. This model is truly distinguished by its proprietary modular heat-storing system. Special heat-storing caps (purchased separately) are mounted on the sides and rear of the unit. This ensures even heat transfer. But that's just the beginning. The NORRA insert's additional power lies in its superstructure. On a special stabilizing base (purchased separately) around the flue and outlet pipe, you can arrange up to 5 layers of modular heat-storing caps (ready-made sets of 1, 3, or 5 layers of heat-storing caps are also available). The modularity of the entire structure means that by setting the appropriate number of layers of storage caps, you can adjust the height of the entire structure to the installation conditions.

UPPER ACCUMULATION CAP:
One element (half of the upper cap layer) weighs approx. 18 kg, and depending on the insert version, there is the option of adding layers in various configurations:

1-layer set: the possibility of arranging the upper storage caps (left + right) in one layer and obtaining approx. 36 kg of additional storage mass.

3-layer set: the possibility of arranging the upper storage caps (left + right) in three layers and obtaining approximately 108 kg of additional storage mass.

5-layer set: the possibility of arranging the upper storage caps (left + right) in five layers and obtaining approximately 180 kg of additional storage mass.

SIDE SLINGS ACCUMULATION:
One element of the sling weighs approximately 14 kg, and depending on the insert version, slings can be added in various configurations:

Straight insert: Up to 7 accumulator slings can be added, providing 98 kg of additional accumulator mass.

Modular accumulator caps are arranged in layers without the need for separators. This solution guarantees a monolithic structure and maximum heat storage density. The accumulator modules in NORRA inserts are characterized by a high density of approximately 2.7 t/m³. Accumulator modules increase the device's efficiency by storing thermal energy generated during the combustion process. During use, they absorb heat from the device body and the exhaust pipe. Once the combustion process is complete, the stored energy is gradually released.

The result? The fireplace radiates pleasant warmth into the room for up to 4 hours after the fire has been extinguished. The gradual release of stored heat improves the comfort of everyday use, stabilizes the room temperature, and minimizes energy loss. This solution also translates into more economical and efficient use of the energy generated by the device.

Intuitive operation and personalization

The NORRA fireplace was designed with the user in mind who values comfort. The interior of the insert, lined with TERMOTEC material (choice of light or dark combustion chamber lining), not only looks elegant but also ensures greater heating efficiency and longer temperature retention inside the fireplace. Furthermore, thanks to the use of a vermiculite deflector, the fireplace reaches its optimal operating temperature faster.

Operation is extremely simple – you control the entire air supply with a single, smooth regulator. NORRA is a grateless insert – the wood burns on the ash, minimizing waste and maximizing energy utilization. In practice, this means that the fuel burns to fine ash, leaving only a small amount in the firebox. The resulting thermal energy from the wood is maximized. The fireplace boasts a high efficiency of 86%.

The universal design, which aligns with the latest interior design trends, is particularly noteworthy. The base with 5-position height adjustment is an integral part of the stove. Furthermore, the NORRA insert is available in several configurations: models with a straight front or corner models. All models are available in traditional and stove-mounted versions – facilitating the design of a custom tiled installation while maintaining high heating parameters.

Ecologically friendly and of the highest quality, the PRO series

The NORRA insert is a responsible choice. The device meets the strict Ecodesign standards and the German BImSchV 2 standard, as well as Flamme Verte, Wallonair (BE), 4 Stelle Certificato ambiental (IT), DIN+ and 15a B-VG. It has also been tested for the new, more stringent EN 16510 standard. This guarantees clean combustion, low emissions, and the highest energy efficiency. Thanks to its sealed combustion chamber and external air intake, the stove works seamlessly with heat recovery systems, making it the perfect heart of modern, energy-efficient homes.

As part of the prestigious Kratka PRO line, NORRA offers the assurance of being made from the finest materials, backed by a 10-year warranty.

Why choose a NORRA insert:

Maximum storage power: The modular set of caps and storage hangers on the sides, back, and top of the insert, dedicated to the NORRA model, stores heat from the device's body.
Modular cap set: The height of the storage layers can be adjusted to suit the building conditions. Choose from a set of 3 or 5 layers of storage modules placed on the top of the insert around the flue pipe to extend heat release time.
Insert body: made of 4 mm thick boiler sheet metal.
Maximum energy utilization: accumulation slings recover energy from the body. There is an option to add 7 accumulation slings (straight insert). The temperature from the body is recovered by the accumulation mass, which releases energy for up to 4 hours.
High efficiency: a deflector system that lowers the exhaust temperature while ensuring low wood consumption. The NORRA insert is characterized by a high efficiency of 86%.
Available versions: choose a model with a straight front or the attractive BS corner version.
Grateless combustion: the wood burns on the ash - lower fuel loss, minimized fuel waste, and maximized energy utilization.
TERMOTEC lining: available in light or dark versions, is characterized by accumulating properties - it releases energy to the environment. Soot particles are burned after reaching an operating temperature of 350 °C. This means that even light TERMOTEC remains clean when it reaches its operating temperature.
Three deflector system: effectively extends the exhaust gas path. This solution increases combustion efficiency and allows for better utilization of thermal energy.
Full control over the combustion process: Control is performed using a single, intuitive regulator, guaranteeing precise control of the device's operation. The use of a rotary damper with a Teflon washer mounted on a bronze sleeve ensures exceptionally smooth, light, and silent operation of the mechanism.
■ Perforated handle: An ergonomic handle with a modern texture ensures comfortable opening and slower heating.
■ Heat-resistant glass: with temperature resistance up to 660°C.
■ Clean glass system: An air curtain that reduces soot build-up.
■ Triple air supply system: Primary, secondary air, and an air curtain to optimize the combustion process.
■ Stability and flexible installation: Adjustable feet and a 360° movable exhaust outlet adapt the device to any interior. The standard includes an integrated base with 5-step height adjustment up to 110 mm. This solution ensures high insert stability.
Ideal for heat recovery: a sealed combustion chamber designed for modern, energy-efficient construction.
Meets the following standards: Ecodesign, BImSchV 2, Flamme Verte, Wallonair (BE), 4 Stelle Certificato ambiental (IT), DIN+ and 15a B-VG.
10-year warranty: the highest quality confirmed by membership in the Kratki PRO line.
Energy safety: the fireplace is a heating solution independent of other heat sources - it means safety and reliability in every situation, and an alternative heating source in the event of a power or gas outage.
