VALUABLE INFORMATION
1. What should you burn in the stove?
We recommend using deciduous trees such as: beech, hornbeam, oak, alder, birch, ash, etc.
Dimensions of the logs: length approx. 25-30 cm, circumference from approx. 30 cm to 50 cm.
The moisture content of wood for burning should not exceed 20%.
2. How to light it?
Remember to light from the top.
Several larger logs of wood (split; humidity max. 20%; diameter approx. 10-13 cm).
A handful of small logs for kindling (approx. 2-5 cm in diameter; max. humidity up to 20%.
Any kindling - Matches/ lighter.
Open all air vents/dampers in the furnace
We place larger logs on the bottom of the fireplace in an alternating manner
On top of thick logs, place a layer of small kindling logs (no more than 3 layers).
Place the logs, leaving spaces between them to ensure free air flow.
Place kindling on the top layer of the graft.
Light the kindling and close the fireplace door.
3. How to set up your stove safely
The goat should be placed on a non-flammable surface at least 20-30 mm thick. The flue and the connecting elements of the flue gas outlet system should be at least 60 cm away from flammable, uncovered structural parts of the building, and at least 20 cm from covered ones. The distance from the sides and back of the stove to flammable materials should be min. 20 cm, the distance from the stove door/glass to flammable materials should be at least 100 cm.
4. Keep it clean
Remove ash, clean the windshield, combustion chamber and chimney.
Clean the fireplace before and after each heating season.
During operation, the combustion chamber of the insert should be cleaned periodically (the frequency of this operation depends on the species and humidity of the wood used).
Ash should be removed before each start of the stove
5. Cleaning the glass
For cleaning, use only approved agents (do not clean the insert elements). Do not use abrasive products for this purpose, it may scratch it. In our other auctions you will find cleaning liquids and foams.
6. Cleaning the stove
Before each heating season, the entire furnace should be inspected and cleaned. Pay special attention to the condition of the seals and replace them if necessary.
