      Discover the NORRA heat-storage fireplace – a grate-free fireplace insert with dedicated modular top panels and heat-storage hangers. Designed for maximum efficiency.

      Special heat-retaining hangers are fitted to the sides and rear of the unit. This ensures that heat is distributed evenly. But that’s just the start. The NORRA insert’s additional power lies in its superstructure. On a special stabilising base (included in the set), you can arrange up to 5 layers of modular heat-storage caps around the flue and the outlet pipe. The modular nature of the entire structure means that by arranging the appropriate number of layers of heat-storage caps, you can adjust the height of the entire structure to suit the installation conditions.

      Each set includes a set of side brackets (7 pieces for a straight insert or 5 pieces for a corner insert) and modular top caps: AKU3 – 3 layers or AKU5 – 5 layers.

    • The side heat storage slings are inserted into the integrated brackets on the body and recover heat energy directly from the walls of the insert. Each sling weighs approx. 14 kg.

      For a straight insert: up to 7 slings → 98 kg of thermal mass

      For a corner insert: up to 5 slings → 70 kg of thermal mass.

    • Modular heat storage caps (top)

      Stacked in layers around the flue and the outlet pipe — without separators, one on top of the other. Up to 5 layers of caps on a stabilising base, giving a total of approx. 180 kg of heat storage mass from the top.

    • Modular heat storage modules are stacked in layers without the need for separators between them. This design ensures a monolithic structure and maximum heat storage density.

      NORRA are characterized by a high density of approximately 2.7 t/m³. The heat storage modules increase the unit’s efficiency by storing the thermal energy generated during the combustion process—during operation, they absorb thermal energy from the unit’s body and the flue pipe. Once the combustion process is complete, the stored energy is gradually released.

      The result? The fireplace continues to radiate pleasant warmth into the room for up to 4 hours after the fire has gone out. The gradual release of stored heat improves the comfort of daily use, stabilizes the room temperature, and minimizes energy loss. This solution also contributes to a more economical and efficient use of the energy generated by the appliance.
